|Recommended: YesA quiet complex, in a great part of town. — First I'll start with the good things about living at Scottsdale 59.
The complex is generally very quiet. The buildings are made of solid brick and cinder block, so you almost never hear your neighbors. Studio apartments are reasonably priced and large for a studio. I have never ever seen roaches in these apartments. The maintenance staff are responsive and usually come and fix your issue within 48 hours.
Now the bad. These buildings are old, and sometimes the swamp cooler AC unit breaks, but it is usually fixed within a couple of hours. I prefer standard AC instead of a swamp cooler, because I need temps to be low when I sleep. The lowest the swamp cooler will get during the summer is usually around 70 degrees. The studio apartments are usually a good deal for the price, but one bedroom apartments are overpriced, and not competitive when you consider other apartment locations that are newer that are in the same price range.

Cons maintenance comes into my apartment unannounced sometimes. I would come home to my things in different places

Scottsdale 59, like any other apartment complex will have its ups and downs, but management is amazing, they go above and beyond and I simply could not imagine living anywhere else and leaving all of my friends here at my apartment complex.
Lovely place to live.
|Recommended: YesMaintenance — Everything we have needed to be fixed hasn’t been completely fixed. Maintenance shows up very quickly, but the jobs have never been solved completely.
